Lee Greenwood to Perform Free Concert at Madison’s Village Green
MADISON, Alabama – Singer Lee Greenwood, renowned for his patriotic anthem “God Bless the USA,” is set to headline the opening of the Village Green at Clift Farms. This new event space aims to be a community gathering spot for Madison County residents.
The concert, which will take place on Tuesday, September 23, at 6:30 p.m., is free to the public. Greenwood will be the inaugural performer at this large green space that features a stage designed for various community events.
According to Clift Farms on Facebook, the venue’s purpose is to foster connection within the community. “You can enjoy picnics on the lawn, yoga in the park, food truck nights, farmers markets, you name it!” the post noted.
Greenwood, a Grammy award-winning artist, is recognized for his strong ties to patriotic themes and has performed at significant events, including both inaugurations of former President Donald Trump, which has earned him some criticism. However, he remains a beloved figure in American music.
His performance will undoubtedly resonate with many, as anticipation builds for the new venue to become a staple for community activities in Madison.
