Dallas Cowboys Injuries Ceedee Lamb Tyler Booker

FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys are grappling with a slew of injuries ahead of their matchup against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday. Following a disappointing 31-14 loss to the Chicago Bears, the team learned that wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will be sidelined for two to four weeks due to a high ankle sprain sustained during the game.

Adding to their woes, rookie offensive lineman Tyler Booker has also been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss three to four weeks. This comes as a significant blow to the Cowboys’ offensive line, as it was already dealing with the absence of starting center Cooper Beebe, who is out for six to eight weeks for the same injury.

“I obviously feel for Beebe, him getting hurt. We’ve definitely prepared everybody,” said Brock Hoffman, who has stepped in as a versatile lineman in their absence. “It sucks. It’s the game of football; injuries happen all the time, and you just have to be ready to play multiple positions.”

This news has dealt a heavy blow to the Cowboys, whose offense struggled to find its footing against the Bears. Lamb’s absence creates a significant void, and the team is now leaning heavily on backup players like T.J. Bass to fill the gaps. Notably, Bass has only seen one snap this season and will now be expected to perform under pressure.

“You just treat each week as if you’re going to be the starter,” Hoffman added, emphasizing the need for the “next man up” mentality. “Every day you come in, you do your job, stay ready.”

All eyes will be on how the Cowboys adapt to these injuries during their upcoming game against the Packers, who are eager to exploit any weaknesses in the team’s lineup. Dallas needs to galvanize its resources quickly, as it hopes to bounce back from their recent performances. With the offensive line in disarray and major players on the sidelines, Sunday could prove challenging.
