Brush Fire Breaks Out in Simi Valley, Authorities Respond

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. — Fire crews are battling a brush fire that started Thursday evening in north Simi Valley. The Lost Fire was reported just after 6 p.m. near Young Wolf Drive and Swift Fox Court, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

The blaze has burned at least 20 acres and officials estimate it could spread to 50 acres. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, though no evacuation orders have been issued for nearby residents.
