Liechtenstein Youth Parliament Session

Vaduz, Liechtenstein – On Saturday, young people gathered at the Landtag for the 10th Youth Session, drafting proposals for Liechtenstein’s youth strategy. The event saw the participation of 60 youths from Liechtenstein and Switzerland, aged 13 to 28.

The Youth Council discussed 20 proposals covering topics such as voting age, sports, and education. The Landtag building transformed into a space for youth political participation.

This session aimed to empower the next generation to engage in political decision-making. “It is important that young voices are heard and considered in our political processes,” said Noah Bühler, a participant in the session.

After two weeks of teamwork activities, participants were ready to present their ideas. The event provides them with a platform to express their views and influence policy changes that affect their lives.

These discussions are crucial as they shape Liechtenstein’s future. Local leaders are encouraged by the enthusiasm and commitment of the youth to engage with topics that will impact their communities.

In addition, educational initiatives are also on the agenda, as many youth expressed the need for improved educational resources to foster learning and development.

As the session concluded, organizers highlighted the importance of continuing these dialogues and involving young people in shaping policies that affect their futures.
