Nicole Kidman Keith Urban Divorce

Los Angeles, California – Actress Nicole Kidman has officially filed for divorce from country musician Keith Urban, marking the end of nearly two decades of marriage. The Oscar-winning actress submitted her petition in Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple, who wed in June 2006, share two daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 14-year-old Faith Margaret. According to a source, Kidman has been trying to save the marriage, and they have been living apart since the summer.

Neither Kidman, 58, nor Urban, 57, has publicly commented on the reasons behind their split. However, the pair have faced challenges throughout their marriage, including Urban’s struggles with addiction and his subsequent recovery.

Despite these ups and downs, both have supported each other’s careers, frequently attending red carpet events and award shows together. Kidman celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on social media just three months before filing for divorce, sharing a photo of the couple backstage.

Reports indicate that as part of their marital dissolution agreement, Kidman will be the primary residential parent of their daughters. Urban will have visitation rights, and both parents are required to attend a parenting education course within 60 days.

Kidman’s previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise lasted more than a decade, ending in 2001. Urban, who has had a successful career in country music, is known for his hits and has won several awards, including four Grammys.

The news of their separation has prompted discussions among fans and the media alike, as both have been regarded as a beloved Hollywood couple for years.
