Gwen Stefani Celebrates 56th Birthday Amid Career Achievements

Los Angeles, CA – Pop icon Gwen Stefani turns 56 on Friday, celebrating a remarkable career that spans over four decades and has earned her a fortune of $160 million.
Stefani first gained fame as the lead singer of No Doubt, the rock band that formed in 1986. The group shot to popularity in the mid-1990s with hits like “Don’t Speak” and “Just a Girl.” Following her success with No Doubt, she launched a solo career highlighted by the 2005 hit “Hollaback Girl,” which became the first song to surpass a million legal downloads in the U.S.
Throughout her career, Stefani has released six studio albums with No Doubt and five solo albums, with her latest, titled Bouquet, dropping in November 2024. She has received 18 Grammy Award nominations and won three times.
Stefani is also known for her role as a coach on NBC’s reality show The Voice, which has helped boost the careers of many musicians, including Morgan Wallen. Reflecting on her career journey, she shared in a Q&A on NBC’s Today show, “Because it’s got to be over soon,” expressing her passion for music.
In addition to her music career, Stefani has made strides in the fashion industry with her clothing line L.A.M.B., launched in 2003, and her Harajuku Lovers fragrance brand. She recently introduced a makeup line, GXVE Beauty.
On the acting front, Stefani received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for her portrayal of Jean Harlow in Martin Scorsese’s 2004 film The Aviator. In recognition of her contributions to the entertainment industry, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.
Ana Martinez, the Walk of Fame’s producer, praised Stefani, saying, “Not only is she an acclaimed singer/songwriter and performer, but Gwen is also a talented fashion designer and cosmetics mogul.”
Stefani married country singer Blake Shelton in 2021, five years after her divorce from Bush guitarist Gavin Rossdale. She shares three children with Rossdale: Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 11. During her Walk of Fame induction ceremony, she expressed her love for her children, saying, “The greatest gift of all is to be a mom. You are my biggest blessings.”
