Studio of Acting to Host Fall Benefit, Stella by Starlight
NEW YORK, NY – The Studio of Acting will host its Fall benefit, “Stella by Starlight,” on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at The Lighthouse at Pier 61, Chelsea Piers. The event will celebrate the organization’s legacy and support its future as it emerges from the pandemic.
This year, the Voice of Humanity Award will be presented to an honored guest, while Vladimir Duthiers will receive the Arts Advocacy Award. Additionally, Anne, CEO of Phoenix House, will accept the Spirit Award. The evening will highlight the importance of arts in recovery and human expression.
“Stella by Starlight is an opportunity to celebrate our values and the people and partners who share and uphold them,” said the Artistic Director at the Studio. “Vladimir Duthiers exemplifies an appreciation and value for the full spectrum of humanity in his journalism. Anne’s work with Phoenix House centers on a belief we know to be true: that art is not only vital for recovery, but for living an expressive and fully realized human life.”
The Studio of Acting has a rich history spanning over 75 years, having operated in six locations across Manhattan. It has evolved from an elite program for artists into a cultural center offering educational and justice programs across New York City. The gala aims to raise funds to strengthen community support as the organization looks forward to new opportunities.
Director of Development stated, “The Studio of Acting stands at a pivotal moment. As we celebrate 75 years of artistic excellence, we look not backward, but forward, to a bold new chapter defined by sustainability, access, and resilience. Stella by Starlight is part of an effort to make a bold investment in creative education for future generations.”
Tickets for the gala range from $500 for general admission to $5,000 for premium sponsorship levels. VIP tickets offer exclusive access to a cocktail party and reserved seating. Additional sponsorship levels include varying benefits for contributions of $10,000 and above.
