Green Bay, WI – The Green Bay Packers are set to return three key players from injury for their Sunday night matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Receiver Christian Watson, kicker Brandon McManus, and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt are all active for the game after missing several weeks.

Watson makes his return after suffering a torn ACL in the regular-season finale last year. Coach Matt LaFleur expressed optimism about Watson’s impact, noting his ability to stretch the field as a deep threat. However, Watson will likely play under a snap count in his first game back.

McManus, who has been out for the past two games due to a right quad injury, is also back in action. During his absence, Lucas Havrisik filled in admirably, converting all 10 of his field goal attempts, including a significant 61-yarder. McManus was cleared to play following a successful practice this week.

Defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt returns after missing two games with a knee injury sustained against the Dallas Cowboys on September 28. Wyatt, regarded as one of the team’s top interior defenders, is expected to bolster the defensive line, particularly in disrupting Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Additionally, the Packers will have rookie receiver Matthew Golden available despite initial concerns about a hip injury. However, the team will be without receiver Dontayvion Wicks (calf), defensive end Lukas Van Ness (foot), and defensive tackle Warren Brinson (hamstring) due to injuries.

With injuries forcing key players out, the Packers’ roster will be thin at wide receiver. This situation may lead to increased playing time for Malik Heath and could put additional pressure on the already limited defensive line.

On the Steelers’ side, receiver Scotty Miller will not play due to a finger injury, but starting center Zach Frazier will be active after overcoming a calf issue.

The Packers are looking to capitalize on their returning players as they face the Steelers in a critical game this Sunday night.
