Lance Twiggs Mysteriously Disappears After Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Murder

ST. GEORGE, Utah — Lance Twiggs, the partner of alleged murderer Tyler Robinson, has seemingly vanished from his hometown six weeks after the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk. Authorities are concerned for Twiggs’ safety as he has not been in contact with media or local residents since Kirk was fatally shot in September.

Robinson, 22, allegedly sent Twiggs a series of text messages confessing to the murder following the incident. According to federal authorities, these messages indicated that Robinson was distressed and expressed worries for Twiggs’ safety.

Although Twiggs is said to be cooperating with law enforcement, there are conflicting reports regarding his current location. His vehicle, an Infiniti FX35, is parked at his parents’ house outside St. George. However, locals, including Jesse Riley, who lives nearby, report no activity at the apartment where Twiggs and Robinson resided.

Robinson made a brief court appearance on Monday in Salt Lake City, where he argued for the right to wear civilian clothes during future hearings, stating a jail jumpsuit could bias the jury. The judge permitted this request but denied his appeal to appear without shackles.

Robinson is accused of aggravated murder in the wake of Kirk’s death at Utah Valley University on September 10. His arraignment is scheduled for January 30, with another court appearance set for January 16.

Twiggs’ past relationship with his strict Mormon family is reported to be strained, with one family member alleging that Twiggs struggled with respect and addiction issues. However, others argue he was a dedicated student who excelled academically, with support from friends who opened their home to him when he was expelled.

According to reports, payments from Twiggs’ parents have continued to arrive, indicating a possible reconciliation. However, the lack of communication from Twiggs since the tragic events raises concerns.

“I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year [he and Robinson] have been dating,” one of Twiggs’ relatives remarked, shedding light on possible influences on their relationship.

The investigation into the case is ongoing, with authorities stating that Twiggs has not been charged with any criminal activity.
