Los Angeles, CA – Dave Franco, the younger brother of James Franco, is making a name for himself in Hollywood through his own hard work and talent. He has appeared in popular films such as “Now You See Me,” “21 Jump Street,” and “Superbad.” One of his recent projects is the horror movie “Together,” which he starred in alongside his wife, Alison Brie, and which received critical acclaim.

In recent years, Dave has gained more recognition, especially following the fallout surrounding James, who faced sexual misconduct allegations from multiple women in 2018. The accusations primarily came from his former acting students. While James denied the claims, he settled with two of the women in 2021 for over $2 million.

As the controversy impacted James’s acting career, Dave insists that his success stems from his own efforts rather than his brother’s influence. In an interview, Dave stated, “No one was going to hire me just because I was James Franco’s little brother. If I sucked, I would’ve disappeared very quickly.” He also mentioned that James is supportive of his acting endeavors, saying, “At this point, I think he’s excited just to see me trying new things and to see me grow.”

Looking ahead, Dave is set to feature in the upcoming film “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” alongside Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Morgan Freeman, all of whom are reprising their roles from the previous films. Additionally, there is speculation about a potential biopic project that Dave may be involved in. He shared on Andy Cohen’s show, “No one has approached me about it yet, I’ll say that. This is something that more people in my life reached out about this exact thing than anything else that has ever happened. Let’s just say, I’m open if it is the right people but let’s leave it at that.”

As Dave continues to carve out his own path in the film industry, he remains focused on his craft and personal growth.
