Activision Teases Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Game Announcement with Cryptic Trailer
Microsoft's Xbox teased the upcoming release of the highly anticipated ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6′ with a cryptic trailer, leaving fans eager for more details.
The new first-person-shooter game is set to be officially unveiled at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase in June, promising a fresh chapter in the iconic ‘Call of Duty’ franchise.
‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ marks the latest installment in the series, following the success of ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’ released in 2020 by developers Treyarch and Raven Software under the publishing of Activision.
The original ‘Call of Duty’ game made its debut back in 2003, originating from Infinity Ward, and has since seen numerous spin-offs and adaptations by various developers including Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games.
The 2024 Xbox Games Showcase, scheduled for June 9, will be the first major event post the Microsoft-Activision Blizzard merger, with a lineup including titles from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios in addition to collaborations with third-party partners.
The showcase will coincide with the Summer Game Fest starting on June 7 in Los Angeles, promising exciting news and updates for gamers and fans of the ‘Call of Duty’ universe.
