Actor Pankaj Tripathi’s Family Tragedy: Brother-in-Law Dies in Road Accident, Sister Injured

Renowned Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi has been struck by a family tragedy, with the unfortunate demise of his brother-in-law, Rakesh Tiwari, and the severe injury of his sister, Sabita Tiwari, in a road accident that occurred in Jharkhand‘s Dhanbad.

The distressing incident unfolded around 4:30 pm at Nirsa Bazar along the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway-2, where the couple’s vehicle collided with a road divider.

Reportedly, the Tiwari couple was en route to West Bengal from Gopalganj district in Bihar when the accident transpired.

Following the collision, both individuals were swiftly transported to the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad for urgent medical care.

Tragically, Rakesh Tiwari was declared “brought dead” by medical professionals, while Pankaj Tripathi’s sister, Sabita Tiwari, sustained a leg fracture but is currently deemed to be out of critical condition, as indicated by SNMMCH Emergency HOD Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gindauria.

Authorities disclosed that the fatal accident occurred while Rakesh Tiwari was behind the wheel, leading to loss of control and the subsequent collision with the road divider.

An investigation is underway to determine the precise cause of the crash, as the entertainment industry, fans, and well-wishers extend their heartfelt condolences to Pankaj Tripathi and his family.

Pankaj Tripathi, celebrated for his remarkable performances in Bollywood productions like “Mirzapur” and “Stree,” is a respected figure in the Indian film fraternity.
