WARSAW, Poland — Agnieszka Maciąg, a well-known Polish model, author, actress, and writer, passed away at the age of 56 on November 27, 2025. The news was confirmed late Thursday by her husband, Robert Wolański, through a heartfelt message on social media.

“Today my Sun has gone out. The light that changed my life, gave me Love, Strength, Faith, and Trust. The light that illuminated our shared path, our reason for living, our home, and place on earth. The light that brought the miracle of birth. Now you are the Light. Be free, because you always loved Freedom. I will always see your eyes full of Love. Your joy and fullness of Life will always live in me,” he wrote.

Agnieszka Maciąg rose to fame in the 1990s as one of the top models in Poland. She started her career after winning a modeling contest organized by the New York-based agency Wilhelmina, which propelled her onto international runways in cities like Milan and Paris. She worked with esteemed designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Nino Cerruti, and Laura Biagiotti.

In addition to her modeling career, Maciąg was a versatile artist, acting in music videos and collaborating with popular Polish bands, including De Mono. She authored 19 bestselling books, mainly focused on health and personal development, and contributed to television networks like Polsat Cafe and TV4.

Agnieszka Maciąg struggled with recurrent cancer, revealing her battle to her followers in March 2025. Despite her illness, she actively shared her journey in webinars aimed at empowering others facing similar challenges.

She leaves behind her husband, Robert Wolański, and their daughter, Helena. Her legacy as a symbol of beauty, resilience, and inspiration in the Polish cultural landscape will be remembered.
