The term of Ajit Doval as National Security Advisor (NSA) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to an end on 3rd June.

New Delhi: With the formation of a new government in India in the next week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take oath for the third time. The plans he made earlier will be taken forward. Prime Minister has shared his roadmap with the bureaucratic team several times. With that, he has also made significant decisions. Changes in the internal affairs of the country are being discussed, so who will be the new crisis handler for him?

Ajit Doval assumed this role in the previous government. Ajit Doval was given a Cabinet rank in the last government. His tenure ended on 3rd June. It is believed that he will not stay with PM Modi in the third term as he does not prefer to be engaged with the Prime Minister as a security adviser due to advancing age.

Why is the post of NSA significant? Now, Doval’s place will be taken by several names. Ajit Doval managed this responsibility for the last 10 years. His first term was from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, his rank was raised to Cabinet Minister equivalent rank.

Ajit Doval’s Interesting History: Ajit Doval’s history has been quite interesting. He conducted many operations as a police officer. He did as much work with the Congress as with the BJP governments. He operated with detailed operations. Firstly, the name of Mizoram Accord is mentioned. He played a crucial role in it. The state of Sikkim was given the status of a State when he had an important role. When riots occurred in 1984, he was in Pakistan. He was working as a spy there. Operation Black Thunder happened in 1988, and he played a crucial role in it. It is said that he remained hidden with agents of a terrorist organization in the Golden Temple for three months.

In 1995, when Assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir, he played an important role. The decade of terror began in Kashmir in the 1990s. After that, the first elections took place in the year 1995. In 1999, when the Kandahar hijacking occurred, he also played a crucial role. IC 814 was hijacked in Kandahar. to deal with the terrorists, Doval went there. He even went inside the plane. Due to his efforts, all passengers were released.

Involvement in Mumbai Police Failure Plan: After this, Doval’s name came up when in 2004 he became the Director Intelligence. He worked at this position for a year and retired. His name surfaced again in 2005 when a police failure interrupted an operation he was planning. India’s Most Wanted Dawood Ibrahim was in Dubai, and his daughter’s wedding was impending, Doval planned a mission to send two of Rajan’s disciples from here. But Mumbai Police sabotaged this operation. When the police intercepted a car in Chanakyapuri where people were found, among them were Vicky Malhotra, his associate, and a third person Ajit Doval. The operation was led by Meera Bhurvan. She didn’t even know Doval at that time.

In 2014, when Prime Minister Modi formed the government for the first time, Doval returned to the limelight and joined as the National Security Advisor and was associated with strategic thinking. He was chosen because he believes in a nationalist ideology. He always says that we should always be Nation First. He has handled many crucial operations from 2014 to 2019. He had shown the Indian Government a way by formulating an Independent Foreign Policy. He has helped in creating a strong image of India as a country.
