Apple TV+ Reveals Premiere Date for New Series ‘The Wild Ones’

Cupertino, California – Today, Apple TV+ unveiled a first look at its upcoming documentary adventure series, “The Wild Ones,” which is set to premiere globally on July 11, 2025. Initially announced under the working title “Endangered Planet,” this six-part series follows a team of wildlife experts on daring expeditions around the world to track and protect endangered species.
The series is led by Aldo Kane, a former Royal Marines Commando, along with wildlife expert Declan Burley and wildlife cinematographer Vianet Djenguet. Together, they combine intense field adventure with cutting-edge science and conservation methods.
The team will travel through six countries—Malaysia, Mongolia, Armenia, Indonesia, Canada, and Gabon—utilizing advanced camera technology to document rare and often unprecedented footage of elusive species such as the Malayan tiger, Gobi bear, Caucasian leopard, Javan rhino, North Atlantic right whale, and Western lowland gorilla.
Produced by Offspring Films, the team behind Apple TV+’s acclaimed “Earth At Night In Color” and “Earthsounds,” “The Wild Ones” is expected to attract viewers interested in nature, wildlife, and conservation efforts.
In addition, Apple TV+ continues to expand its content library, offering a mix of dramas, comedies, documentaries, and family entertainment. Since its launch on November 1, 2019, the platform has quickly established itself by premiering numerous original hits and gaining significant award recognition. To date, Apple Original films and series have received 563 wins and 2,596 nominations, including the Emmy Award-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” and the Oscar-winning film “CODA.”
Apple TV+ is accessible on the Apple TV app across 100 countries and regions. It allows users to watch content on more than one billion screens, including iPhones, iPads, and various smart TVs. Subscribers can access the service for $9.99 per month, which includes a seven-day free trial for new users.
