ARLINGTON, Texas — An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday morning at an apartment complex. Teagan Meza is charged with murder following the incident which resulted in another 18-year-old man’s death.
According to a news release from the Arlington Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting at around 6:46 a.m. in the 800 block of West Mitchell Street. Upon arrival, they found a male lying unresponsive on the floor with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The victims’ identities have not been publicly disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
