The Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, Kengkird Pupillo, attended the launch and discussion of the Comprehensive Strategic Partners between ASEAN and Australia marking 50 years of collaboration.

The event highlighted the deepening ties between ASEAN and Australia, emphasizing the importance of regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

Nguyen Van Tu, a representative from the ASEAN Secretariat, expressed optimism about the partnership, citing mutual benefits such as enhanced economic integration and strategic alignment on global issues.

The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in various sectors, including trade, security, and sustainable development, in line with the principles of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization.
