Bank of America Partners with David Beckham for Global Sports Initiative
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 19, 2025 – Bank of America has announced a multi-year partnership with Sir David Beckham, a global sports icon and philanthropist, to serve as the ambassador for its global sports program, Sports with Us. This initiative aims to promote sports participation and community development through various iconic brands and events.
“Sport has the power to bring people together and create lasting impact on young people and communities all over the world,” Beckham said. “I applaud Brian Moynihan and his team’s long-term plans to use sports as a vehicle for change.”
Sports with Us is designed to inspire and connect communities, helping to create opportunities for youth participation in sports across the U.S. The program will include significant events such as the FIFA World Cup 26™, the Boston Marathon, and the Masters Tournament, aiming for substantial economic impact and support.
David Tyrie, President of Marketing, Digital, and Specialized Consumer Client Solutions at Bank of America, commented, “Sir David’s work to support communities around the world and his passion for helping others excel are second to none. With his help, we will accelerate change.”
The partnership will also facilitate sports clinics across the U.S. These clinics will unite professional athletes and Bank of America employees to mentor young participants, aiming to impact hundreds of thousands of children over the next decade.
Authentic Brands Group (ABG), which co-manages Beckham’s brand, will assist in event deliveries across the U.S., further enhancing the reach of the Sports with Us program.
The collaboration underscores Bank of America’s commitment to leveraging its extensive sports partnerships for social change, aiming to connect and empower individuals through the power of sports.
