WWE superstar Becky Lynch has reportedly filmed a scene for the upcoming Netflix sequel, ‘Happy Gilmore 2,’ set to release later this year. According to sources, Lynch will appear as part of a rival group of golfers in the comedy film, which stars Adam Sandler reprising his iconic role.

The sequel, directed by Kyle Newacheck and written by Sandler and Tim Herlihy, will also feature AEW wrestler MJF and NFL star Travis Kelce. Lynch’s exact role remains undisclosed, but she is believed to be part of a competitive golfing ensemble that includes Reggie Bush. The film marks Lynch’s first major acting role outside of wrestling.

Lynch, who last appeared on WWE television in a Steel Cage Match against Liv Morgan, was recently spotted at Netflix’s headquarters in Los Angeles for promotional events. Her involvement in the project aligns with WWE’s growing presence in mainstream entertainment.

‘Happy Gilmore 2’ will see the return of original cast members Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, alongside new additions like Bad Bunny and Travis Kelce. The film is expected to blend sports comedy with Sandler’s signature humor, appealing to both longtime fans and new audiences.

Netflix has yet to announce an official release date, but the project is already generating buzz among fans of the original 1996 classic. Lynch’s crossover into Hollywood highlights the increasing intersection of professional wrestling and entertainment.
