The cast of the ‘Yellowstone‘ spin-off series, ‘The Madison,’ has been bolstered by the addition of Ben Schnetzer. Schnetzer joins other notable cast members such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, and Amiah Miller in the new series created by Taylor Sheridan, as reported exclusively by Variety.

Schnetzer is set to play the role of Van, described as ‘a salt-of-the-earth and neighborly Montana rancher.’ This marks an interesting character portrayal as the series explores themes of grief and human connection centered on a New York City family in the scenic Madison River valley of central Montana.

Originally under the working title ‘2024,’ ‘The Madison’ seeks to offer viewers a heartfelt narrative, though it remains unclear whether it will debut on Paramount Network like its predecessor ‘Yellowstone’ or elsewhere in the ViacomCBS family.

In addition to his new television project, Schnetzer will appear alongside Lily James in an upcoming biopic about Bumble’s founder. He recently completed production on ‘The Yellow Tie,’ a film about the life of Romanian conductor Sergiu Celibidache. Schnetzer is also recognized for his roles in FX‘s ‘Y: The Last Man‘ and the upcoming adaptations like ‘Three Body Problem.’ His film credits include ‘The Grizzlies,’ ‘Goat,’ and ‘Pride.’

‘The Madison’ is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, with Taylor Sheridan serving as executive producer under his Bosque Ranch Productions banner. Other executive producers include David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, and actors such as Pfeiffer and Keith Cox.

The original ‘Yellowstone’ goes off-air soon, but its creator Sheridan has cultivated a ‘Yeehawniverse’ with other spin-offs like ‘1883‘ and ‘1923.’ Amiah Miller expressed her enthusiasm about working on ‘The Madison,’ revealing, “It’s a really special project… I’ve always wanted to work with Taylor Sheridan… it’s going really well. We’re filming right now in Montana, and it’s so beautiful.”

‘Yellowstone’ will take its final bow next month, while ‘The Madison’ is expected to premiere towards the end of 2025. Fans can catch up on past episodes of ‘Yellowstone’ on Peacock as they await more news on ‘The Madison.’
