BJP National President JP Nadda criticized RJD leader Misa Bharti for her recent statement suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be imprisoned if the INDIA Alliance comes to power.

Nadda, addressing a public rally, stated that many leaders of the opposition alliance were either facing corruption charges or out on bail.

He highlighted that the opposition seemed desperate due to the imminent defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Misa Bharti, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Yadav, made the contentious remark during a campaign event in Bihar‘s Patliputra constituency.

JP Nadda expressed disappointment over the language used by Misa Bharti towards PM Modi, emphasizing his spotless track record during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

Nadda questioned the audience if they were comfortable with such derogatory remarks from leaders involved in corruption scandals like land-for-job and fodder scams.

He further accused leaders from various regional parties of engaging in corruption, citing instances in other states like Mamta Banerjee’s Bengal and Telangana.

Nadda highlighted the common theme of family-run parties within the opposition bloc, naming several prominent political families.

He asserted that only BJP functions democratically, contrasting it with the dynastic structures prevalent in other parties.

Nadda reminisced about the multitude of corruption scandals that unfolded during the UPA regime, drawing attention to scams like coal, submarine, AgustaWestland chopper, sugar, rice, and Commonwealth Games scams.

The BJP chief underscored the need for a corruption-free governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
