BJP Unveils Election Manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Lok Sabha Elections 2024

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its election manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The launch event took place at the BJP headquarters in Delhi in the presence of key party members including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president JP Nadda, and other senior leaders.

The manifesto release coincided with the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, a prominent leader from the Dalit community and one of the architects of the Indian Constitution.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the transformation brought about by government schemes in the lives of the people, terming it as the government’s biggest achievement over the past decade.

The BJP’s election manifesto, ‘Sankalp Patra’, emphasizes the party’s commitment to achieving a developed India by 2047, a vision referred to as Viksit Bharat.

Key promises in the manifesto include infrastructure development, support for youth, women, the poor, and farmers, and initiatives to propel India into the top three global economies.

As part of the manifesto drafting process, the BJP actively sought inputs from various sources, including online contributors and individuals engaged through offline party efforts. The party’s manifesto committee, led by defense minister Rajnath Singh, held deliberations to shape the document.

The manifesto launch event saw Prime Minister Modi and other leaders interacting with beneficiaries of government schemes such as the PM Svanidhi Yojna, PM Kisan Yojna, Ujwala Yojna, and Har ghar Jal, underscoring the impact of these programs on citizens.

PM Modi expressed gratitude for the developments coinciding with the event, including the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, showcasing the BJP’s commitment to fulfilling promises made in its manifesto.

In his address, Nadda reaffirmed the BJP’s track record of delivering on its manifesto commitments and highlighted the party’s focus on good governance and development initiatives for all sections of society.

The release of the ‘Sankalp Patra’ on this significant day, which also marks Ambedkar Jayanti and Navaratri celebrations in various states, underscores the party’s strategic timing and messaging ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
