St. Louis Blues Vs New York Rangers Hockey Game

St. Louis, MO — The St. Louis Blues are aiming to extend their points streak to four games as they visit the New York Rangers on Monday night at Madison Square Garden. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network and 101 ESPN.

The Blues have recently seen some lineup changes. Logan Mailloux returns to the team after a successful stint with the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL, where he scored twice in five games. Blues head coach Jim Montgomery noted Mailloux’s good performance, saying, ‘He feels good about his game, got a lot of touches, got a lot of minutes, now he’s excited.’

Mailloux will be paired with defenseman Cam Fowler during Monday’s game. Tyler Tucker will play alongside Justin Faulk, while Montgomery emphasized the importance of pairing young players with veterans, stating, ‘We think Faulk and Fowler have the ability to raise the levels and make [the younger guys] better.’

The forward lines for the Blues remain stable, with Jake Neighbours, Robert Thomas, and Jimmy Snuggerud leading the charge. Other liniups include Brayden Schenn, Dalibor Dvorsky, and Pavel Buchnevich, while Oskar Sundqvist returns to the fourth line, taking the place of Nick Bjugstad.

Joel Hofer will start in goal for St. Louis. For the Rangers, their projected lineup features big names like Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad. However, Vincent Trocheck is a game-time decision due to precautionary reasons. Trocheck did not skate with the team during the morning session.

As the Blues prepare for this important match, they hope to build momentum during their five-game road trip and improve their standings in the NHL.
