Box Office Success: “Devara – Part One” Crosses 100 Crore in Two Days
“Devara – Part One,” starring South Indian superstar Junior NTR, has successfully captivated audiences, achieving significant box office success across multiple languages. Released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, the film’s collections have been promising, with reports indicating that the film crossed the 100 crore mark within its first two days.
According to a report by Sacnilk, “Devara – Part One” earned an estimated 40 crore on its second day. The detailed earnings include 29.4 crore from the Telugu version, 9 crore from the Hindi version, 1 crore from the Tamil version, 0.35 crore from the Kannada version, and 0.25 crore from the Malayalam version. The film had a spectacular opening day with a collection of 82.5 crore.
Junior NTR’s performance alongside co-stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan has received positive feedback. Kapoor makes her South debut in this film, portraying a pivotal role, while Khan plays the antagonist. The film’s release on September 27 has set the stage for a strong first weekend performance, with industry experts anticipating further earnings on the Sunday following its release.
During promotions, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga discussed the intensive shooting schedule, mentioning that it included 30-35 days dedicated to underwater sequences. Junior NTR described the underwater episode as a significant part of “Devara” and explained the decision to create a studio pool for shooting rather than using an existing facility.
The movie, directed by Koratala Siva, was produced with a budget of 300 crore. On its opening day, it grossed a worldwide collection of 145 crore, approaching the halfway mark of its production costs. “Devara’s” financial performance is a testament to its strong audience appeal and the draw of its leading star, Junior NTR.
