Bradley Walsh's On Air Sofa Blunder Causes Chaos On The One Show

The One Show was thrown into chaos as Bradley Walsh, 63, almost broke the sofa during Friday’s episode. Crammed on the sofa, new Gladiator presenters Bradley, 63, and his son Barney Walsh, 26, were joined by Alex Jones, Roman Kemp, and actor Robson Green. As hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp chatted to the guests, the interview was thrown into chaos as Bradley edged along to the end of the sofa, only to find himself falling off it. What Bradley didn’t realise was his part of the sofa was an add-on which wasn’t securely attached to the main part of the sofa.

As his part of the sofa began to tip, The Chase presenter began to fall and almost went flying as he failed to realise his seat was the ottoman section of the furniture. Alex and Roman exclaimed and reached forward to try to diffuse the situation, before the studio erupted into laughter. Regaining his footing, Bradley picked up his part of the sofa as he joked: ‘You’ve never fixed that! You’ve never fixed that ever!’ Meanwhile, Robson tried to make light of the situation as he teased: ‘The good thing is, no one saw!’ Bradley then added: ‘No. No one saw.’

Fans took to Twitter to joke about Bradley’s fall, with one sharing a clip of the incident. Another added: ‘Graham Norton would do well to have that couch!’

Appearing on the show to promote the reboot of the iconic gameshow Gladiators, it comes after Gladiators presenter Ulrika Jonsson expressed her disappointment at the new series for not featuring cheerleaders. The original series featured the cheerleading group G-force, but they will not be returning for the reboot.
