Thousands of revelers gathered at LeBreton Flats Park in Ottawa to commemorate Canada Day amidst perfect weather conditions.

According to the forecast by Environment Canada, the day saw a high of 26 C with a humidex of 28, bringing clear skies and a nighttime low of 12 C.

Tuesday is anticipated to bring sunny weather with even higher temperatures, reaching a high of 28 C and a humidex of 30, followed by a cloudy low of 15 C in the evening.

Wednesday will witness mixed sun and clouds, with a high of 27 C. However, the nighttime forecast includes a 60 per cent chance of rain showers with a low of around 19 C.

The average high and low for this period typically hovers around 25.6 C and 14.5 C respectively.
