Car Crash Reported on Interstate 5 in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A car crash was reported Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 5 in Sacramento. Emergency medical services received the call at approximately 9:03 a.m. and responded to the accident scene just south of Gloria Drive in the South Land Park neighborhood.

The cause of the crash remains unclear, as authorities are still gathering information. The number of vehicles involved in the incident has not yet been disclosed.

According to dispatch radio communications, at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. That individual was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
