Carmen Bryan Jay Z Rape Allegations

Carmen Bryan, the former partner of rapper Nas and the mother of Jay-Z‘s child from a nine-year affair, has publicly criticized Jay-Z following recent rape allegations against him. Bryan took to Instagram to express her thoughts, highlighting the hypocrisy of people defending individuals they like rather than standing up for what is right.

The allegations against Jay-Z involve a federal civil lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York, which claims that Jay-Z, along with Sean Combs (also known as P Diddy), drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl at an afterparty following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. The lawsuit, originally filed in October, was refiled on Sunday to include Jay-Z as a defendant.

Bryan referenced Jay-Z’s lyrics in his feature on Kanye West‘s song ‘Monster,’ where he threatens to “rape and pillage your village, women and children.” She has described herself in her autobiography as the ‘hip hop Helen of Troy’ due to her significant relationships within the hip-hop industry.

Jay-Z has denied the allegations, describing the case as a “blackmail attempt” by the claimant’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee. Buzbee has countered these claims, stating that Jay-Z’s accusations of blackmail are “bogus and laughable” and that his clients will not be silenced or intimidated.

The legal battle continues, with Jay-Z’s legal team seeking the identity of the accuser, known only as Jane Doe, or for the case to be dismissed. Buzbee remains steadfast in his representation of the accuser, emphasizing that they will not be bullied or intimidated by Jay-Z’s legal maneuvers.
