Channel 5’s newest psychological thriller, Love Rat, is set to captivate audiences with its gripping tale of deception and revenge. Starring renowned actors Sally Lindsay, Neil Morrissey, Gerald Kyd, Ramon Tikaram, Imogen King, and more, the series unfolds against the picturesque backdrop of Cyprus.

Following the story of recent divorcée Emma, played by Sally Lindsay, who seeks solace in Cyprus after a tumultuous split from her ex-husband, Pete (Neil Morrissey), Love Rat delves into the complexities of love, betrayal, and manipulation.

As Emma embarks on a journey of self-discovery in Cyprus, she becomes entangled in a whirlwind romance with the charming Niko (Gerald Kyd), the wealthy owner of the hotel where she is staying. However, what starts as a holiday fling takes a dark turn when Niko vanishes with a substantial sum of Emma’s money, sparking a quest for justice and retribution.

The stellar cast, including Ramon Tikaram, Imogen King, Louiza Patikas, Camilla Roholm, Rina Mahoney, and Joanna Kalafatis, brings each character to life, adding layers of intrigue to the narrative set against the stunning Cypriot landscapes.

Filmed in Cyprus, Love Rat marks a milestone as the first British TV series to be shot on the captivating island, under the guidance of Cyprus Film Commissioner Lefteris Eleftheriou.
