China’s Shanghai Kepler Robotics Unveils Powerful Forerunner K2 Humanoid Robot

China’s Shanghai Kepler Robotics has made significant strides in the field of humanoid robotics with the introduction of its latest model, the Forerunner K2. This fifth-generation humanoid robot is designed to excel in various commercial applications across multiple industries, including intelligent manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, high-risk operations, and research and education.

The Forerunner K2 boasts impressive capabilities, featuring 52 degrees of freedom throughout its body, which allows for more natural and fluid movements. Each hand of the K2 supports up to 11 degrees of active and passive freedom and can carry up to 33 pounds, with fingertips equipped with sensor arrays containing 96 contact points for precise object manipulation and tactile sensing.
