Christen Harper and Jared Goff Welcome Baby Girl Romy Isabelle

LOS ANGELES, CA — Model and actress Christen Harper and her husband, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, have welcomed their first child, a daughter named Romy Isabelle, born in July. The couple, who met on the dating app Raya in 2019, shared the news with fans through social media.

Harper, who had a flourishing career in Los Angeles, made a significant sacrifice by relocating to Detroit when Goff was traded from the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. “That was a huge sacrifice for me,” she told the Women of the League web series, discussing her adjustment to a new city and the challenges of leaving her support system behind.

“I was giving up a career… It really affected my identity and kind of who I was,” she added. In contrast to her life in Los Angeles, where she was surrounded by friends and family, Harper found herself starting over in Detroit.

Despite the difficulties, Harper found a strong community among the spouses of Goff’s teammates. “But moving to Detroit, it was such a stark contrast, I had nothing there. So I really relied on the women on the team,” she said.

The couple’s relationship flourished despite the changes. Goff proposed during a beach vacation in Mexico in June 2022, calling himself the “luckiest guy in the world.” They married in June 2024 in Ojai, California.

Earlier this year, Goff expressed excitement about becoming a father, saying, “I’m looking forward to becoming a dad.” Harper echoed that sentiment, sharing her confidence in her husband’s fatherhood abilities.

The birth of their daughter brought Harper immense joy. She shared on Instagram, “My heart is bursting into a million pieces.”
