Coldplay Extends ‘Music of the Spheres’ Tour with Summer 2025 North American Dates
Coldplay has announced an extension to their ‘Music of the Spheres‘ world tour, adding a series of summer 2025 North American dates. This latest announcement marks yet another phase in what has become a record-setting tour. The band originally launched their tour in March 2022 in San José, Costa Rica, and it touched down in North America for the first time on May 6, 2022.
The new dates include Coldplay’s debut stadium performances in several U.S. cities such as Stanford, California, El Paso, Denver, Las Vegas, Nashville, and Madison, Wisconsin. Notably, the Madison concert will be the first music event held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison‘s Camp Randall Stadium since the Rolling Stones performed there in 1997. Additionally, the band will be among the first to perform at Toronto‘s new Rogers Stadium, a venue with a 50,000-seat capacity set to open in June 2025.
The 2025 tour will commence on May 31 at Stanford Stadium, California, and include stops in Las Vegas, Denver, El Paso, Toronto, Foxborough, Madison, and Nashville, concluding on July 26 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
The opportunity for fans to purchase tickets begins with an artist presale available until October 10, before the presale starts on October 11. General sales will open later on October 11. Additionally, a limited number of $20 “Infinity” tickets will be available for each show, featuring a two-ticket limit per purchase, released on November 22.
Since its inception, the ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour has sold more than 10 million tickets worldwide, covering Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It is now considered the most-attended tour by a musical group. As of yet, Coldplay has not announced supporting acts for the new 2025 dates.
Before returning to North America, Coldplay will continue the current leg of their tour through Australia, Abu Dhabi, and Mumbai, India, early next year, with later dates planned for Hong Kong and Seoul in April. As part of their ongoing commitment to sustainability, Coldplay reports a 59% reduction in CO2e emissions per show compared to their previous 2016-2017 stadium tour and has contributed to planting over nine million trees globally.
Coldplay recently released their 10th studio album ‘Moon Music,’ which includes tracks like “We Pray” and “feelslikefallinginlove.” Fans attending the upcoming tour can anticipate a diverse setlist that spans the band’s entire discography.
