Coldplay Mumbai Concert 2024

British band Coldplay is set to make their return to India after a nine-year hiatus, with performances scheduled at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on January 18 and 19 next year. The announcement came through a teaser shared by BookMyShow Live on September 22, 2024.

This concert is part of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour, which has garnered significant global acclaim. The band, consisting of lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion, previously performed in India during the 2016 Global Citizen Festival, also held in Mumbai.

Fans attending the Mumbai concert can anticipate live performances of new tracks such as ‘We Pray’ and ‘Feels like falling in love’ from Coldplay’s upcoming release, “Moon Music.” Additionally, the band will play some of their most popular hits, including ‘Yellow,’ ‘The Scientist,’ ‘Clocks,’ ‘Fix You,’ ‘Viva La Vida,’ ‘Paradise,’ ‘A Sky Full Of Stars,’ and ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime.’

Tickets for these much-anticipated concerts went on sale on September 22, 2024, at 12 pm IST, exclusively through BookMyShow. Prices range from ₹2,500 to ₹12,500, with a maximum of eight tickets available per transaction. There will be no pre-sale for bank customers, and BookMyShow is the sole authorized ticket vendor for this event, to avoid the risk of purchasing counterfeit tickets from unauthorized sellers.

In an additional offering, Coldplay plans to release ‘Infinity Tickets’ on November 22, 2024. These tickets, priced at €20 (approximately ₹2,000), must be purchased in pairs to promote accessibility and inclusivity among fans. Buyers will only be informed of their seating location upon collecting their tickets at the box office on the day of the concert.
