Shane Gillis Grace Brassel Breakup News

Los Angeles, CA — Comedian Shane Gillis and influencer Grace Brassel have ended their relationship after several months of dating. Sources told PEOPLE that the couple broke up a few months ago.

Gillis, 37, and Brassel, 26, started dating in July 2024. The split was confirmed amid online speculation following a social media post by Brassel on November 6. She shared the song “Madeline” from Gillis’ album, which deals with concerns about a partner possibly seeing someone else.

Comments on Brassel’s post attracted attention, with one user expressing concern for her well-being, to which she replied with a smiling emoji. Another commenter noted they missed her, and Brassel responded, “I missed me too,” indicating some emotional complexity.

The couple was last seen together in July at the ESPYS Awards, where they posed together on the red carpet. Brassel later shared a series of photos from the event on her Instagram, showcasing their happy moments.

Gillis and Brassel first sparked dating rumors after they were photographed together at the wedding of Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo. Brassel confirmed their romance in a TikTok in July 2024, where she humorously described an awkward encounter with a woman who approached Gillis.

Despite their relationship being public, Brassel rarely featured on Gillis’ social media. He previously expressed a desire to keep his private life out of the spotlight, mentioning a previous two-year relationship during a podcast in March 2023.

As of now, PEOPLE has reached out to Gillis’ representatives for a statement regarding their breakup.
