An upswell of community support is underway to help locate a missing 44-year-old woman from Brantford, Eugenia (Jenny) Da Silva. Last seen leaving her workplace at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home in Woodstock on July 5, where she serves as a funeral director, concerns have grown as her family and friends mobilize search efforts.

Da Silva’s sister, Leana Da Silva, expressed the family’s anxiety over the six days since her disappearance. The community support, however, has been overwhelming, with many offering assistance and sharing information to help in the search for Jenny.

Friends of the missing woman have now organized a dedicated search effort through a Facebook group named ‘Bring Eugenia (Jenny) Da Silva Home.’ The initiative has gained significant participation, with members committed to canvassing multiple zones in regions from London to St. Catharines.

Leana Da Silva mentioned that Eugenia’s last known location was in either the Burford or Cathcart area, consistent with her usual scenic route along Highway 53 from Woodstock back to Brantford, where she resides with her family.

Appeals have been made to the public, urging anyone with information to contact the Brantford Police or Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers. The family is anguished by the uncharacteristic disappearance of Jenny, who is described as a married mother of two daughters.
