Congress Announces 5 Poll Promises for Youth, Vows 30 Lakh Jobs and More

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi unveiled a set of five major promises during a rally in Rajasthan, outlining key commitments specifically aimed at the youth demographic ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Recognizing the contributions and challenges faced by gig workers, Congress has promised enhanced social security measures with improved work conditions under the ‘Gig economy mein samajik suraksha’ scheme. Additionally, the ‘Yuva Roshni’ proposal introduces a ₹5,000 crore national fund to empower youth entrepreneurship, allocating resources for startup ventures in every district. By offering financial support to individuals below 40 years of age, Congress aims to foster innovation and economic growth within the youth demographic.
