Nursery Teachers Training Viral Video

A catchy children’s song titled “Aaha Tamatar Bada Majedar” has recently become a viral sensation, frequently used as a background track for various social media posts. The song’s popularity took an unexpected turn when a video emerged showing nursery teachers rehearsing the tune during a training session. This image sparked widespread discourse online, with numerous individuals criticizing its use in an educational context.

Dr. Nitin Sshakya, who identifies himself on Instagram as a doctor-cum-bureaucrat serving in the government, shared the contentious video. Accompanying the post, he commented, “Nursery teachers getting excellent training,” punctuated with a clapping emoji. However, the post triggered a flurry of negative feedback, with users accusing the training session of trivializing education and labeling it a “real tamasha” (drama).

One user remarked, “Real tamasha. It’s not all about education,” while another, purportedly also a nursery teacher, stated, “I am also a nursery teacher, and I teach better than them.” A further critic expressed embarrassment over the video, and another suggested, “It’s better to learn phonetics or other important topics for the future.” Despite the backlash, some commenters defended the teachers, noting the necessity of “special classes for rhymes.” Another commenter expressed admiration by saying, “I have huge respect for teachers.”

The conversation also shifted to concerns over the salary of those in the teaching profession. “Aaha Tamatar Bada Majedar,” a Hindi children’s rhyme, initially gained unexpected traction on social media as users began creatively integrating its audio into their posts. A notable moment occurred when an edited video of the K-pop group BTS dancing to the tune surfaced, propelling the trend further.
