Cool Spring Weather Arrives in Brevard, Expected to Warm Up Throughout the Week
Tuesday marks the advent of spring in Brevard, accompanied by a delightful change in the weather. Despite initial gusty winds, the day is anticipated to bring about clear skies and a dearth of rain, with temperatures on the rise.
“It will be refreshing after all these hot temperatures,” remarked Tim Sedlock, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service stationed in Melbourne.
The forecast indicates a sunny day devoid of significant cloud cover, with daytime highs hovering around 66 degrees and night-time lows dropping to approximately 46 degrees. This departure from normal temperatures by 12 degrees is expected to be accompanied by winds reaching up to 15 mph, with occasional gusts peaking at 25 mph.
Following Tuesday’s cooler climate, Brevard is projected to experience a gradual warming trend throughout the remainder of the week, with highs settling in the mid to upper 70s and lows holding steady in the mid-50s. Rainfall is expected to stay at bay until Friday when a 40% chance of precipitation looms and wind gusts could reach 20 mph.
As the weekend approaches, coinciding with the commencement of spring break for the majority of Brevard students, Saturday foresees minimal chances of rain. According to Sedlock, Sunday and early next week are anticipated to be dry and pleasant.
