Colorado Weather Forecast With Rain And Snow

DENVER, Colorado — A cooler weather pattern is settling across Colorado as a weak cold front moves into the region, bringing rain to the Front Range and potential snow to the mountains.

This Sunday, afternoon highs are expected to remain in the 60s along the I-25 corridor and plains. Rain showers are forecasted to develop throughout the Front Range this evening into the overnight hours.

In the Northern Front Range mountains and foothills, snowfall could reach several inches, especially at elevations above 9,000 feet. Some areas may experience significant accumulation by Monday morning.

As residents wake up on Monday, they will find a gray sky with temperatures only rising into the 50s across much of the plains. Light rain or snow showers may redevelop by Monday evening, but the precipitation amounts are expected to be minimal.

Tuesday will bring slightly warmer conditions, with afternoon highs expected in the upper 60s. Mid to late week, temperatures are predicted to trend upward, with above-normal highs likely returning to the region.
