Cristiano Ronaldo Leads Al-Nassr to Comeback Victory Against Al-Feiha
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals, leading Al-Nassr to a 2-1 comeback victory against Al-Feiha in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday.
The match took place at King Saud University Stadium, where Al-Feiha’s Jason opened the scoring early in the first half. After trailing 1-0 at halftime, Al-Nassr responded in the second half with Ronaldo’s powerful strike, followed by another goal from him to seal the win.
“We fought until the end,” Ronaldo said after the match, adding that he was thrilled to contribute to the team’s victory.
The match featured intense moments, including a penalty awarded to Al-Nassr after a VAR review confirmed a foul by Al-Feiha’s Villanueva against Al Amri. Ronaldo converted the penalty, driving the ball down the middle and past goalkeeper Mosquera.
Despite Al-Feiha’s attempts to regain control, including several good chances from Ganvoula and Al Beshe, they were unable to find another goal. The game saw multiple substitutions, with both teams seeking fresh legs in the attack.
Al-Nassr made a crucial tactical shift, substituting Mané and Brozovic for Camara and Wesley, which helped them maintain pressure. Al-Feiha’s strategy shifted defensively as they sought to protect their lead but ultimately could not withstand Al-Nassr’s persistent attacks.
With the win, Al-Nassr remains at the top of the league, extending their points lead over rivals Al-Hilal. The team is looking to maintain momentum in the upcoming matches, with Ronaldo now reaching a career total of 952 goals.
