Daisy May Cooper Haunted

BAFTA-winning actor and screenwriter Daisy May Cooper has reported paranormal experiences that she believes are linked to the spirit of her friend and late co-star, Michael Sleggs. Cooper described several unsettling incidents in her home, including knocking on her bedroom door and inexplicable movements of her duvet, which she attributes to Sleggs.

“This knocking at the door wasn’t a normal kind – there was a rhythm, and me and my partner just looked at each other,” Cooper recounted in an interview. She expressed her belief that her friend was behind the strange occurrences, stating, “If anybody was going to come back and let me know there was something after death, it would be him.” Sleggs, known for his role as ‘Slugs’ in the series “This Country,” passed away in 2019 after reportedly having a unique spiritual experience on his hospital bed.

Cooper has documented various supernatural encounters in her book titled “Hexy Bitch,” which is set to be released on October 24. In her book, she discusses her lifelong fascination with the unexplained, which may have stemmed from a family tragedy when she was four years old.

The actor revealed other eerie experiences in her country home, including her friend Sarah witnessing what sounded like a break-in, and guests observing unusual occurrences such as hearing voices, smelling cigarettes, and seeing shadow figures. She also mentioned photographs in the house moving to different locations on their own.

Cooper disclosed a particularly bizarre incident involving her housekeeper, who once claimed to have seen a man dressed as a Roman in her house and heard a child running around. Reflecting on these experiences, Cooper acknowledged the skepticism they might provoke but insisted on their authenticity.

As a means of exploring these phenomena, Cooper has connected with other individuals through social media who share an interest in the paranormal. She detailed experiences heard from others, such as an elderly man who believes he is linked to Jackie Kennedy from a previous life.

Daisy May Cooper’s new book aims to bring together people with similar unexplained experiences, offering them a platform to share their stories without judgement. “It’s all about keeping an open mind,” she remarked.

Aside from her book, Cooper also participated in “The Haunting of Daisy May Cooper,” an “Uncanny” Christmas special that delved into her paranormal experiences, further publicizing her encounters with the supernatural.
