Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Movie Trailer

Director Anees Bazmee has suggested the possibility of a showdown between actors Akshay Kumar and Kartik Aaryan in future installments of the popular Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. The discussion comes amid anticipation for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is slated for release on November 1, 2024. The sequel promises an engaging narrative featuring a prominent cast including Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Bazmee expressed his enthusiasm about bringing Akshay Kumar back into the Bhool Bhulaiyaa fold, alongside Kartik Aaryan. He remarked, ‘It would be an incredible opportunity, especially since Kartik is a huge fan of Akshay.’ The director praised Kumar as a versatile actor who shines in comedy, emotion, and action, and noted their strong friendship.

Bazmee shared his excitement about this potential casting, stating he would be delighted if it materialized. ‘The future is full of surprises, and I will certainly endeavor to find a compelling story attractive enough for Akshay to consider being part of the franchise,’ he added.

The upcoming film is set against the backdrop of a centuries-old spirit haunting the town of Raktaghat, with two Manjulikas locked in a battle for dominance. The release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will coincide with Rohit Shetty‘s multi-starrer ‘Singham Again,’ leading to intense competition at the box office.

Despite speculation about Akshay Kumar’s potential cameo, the actor confirmed to Zee News, “No, absolutely not. It’s fake news,” clarifying that he would not appear in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. However, fans of Kumar can look forward to his special appearance in Shetty’s Singham Again, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff.
