Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, has taken to social media to address his critics in a lighthearted manner. The multi-talented artist shared a teaser of a new track on TikTok, playfully responding to negative comments about him.

The preview clip features a snippet of the song tentatively titled “Lithonia (Nobody Gives a Fuck)” and showcases a switch in Glover’s musical style towards singing, reminiscent of his ‘Awaken, My Love!’ album. The track is speculated to be included in his upcoming album, ‘Bando Stone in the New World’.

Glover recently released his second album of 2024, ‘Atavista‘, which is considered the ‘finished’ version of his 2020 LP ‘3.15.20’. The updated album features subtle changes, including a reworked tracklist and new vocals from artists like Jhené Aiko and Ty Dolla $ign.

‘Bando Stone in the New World’ is anticipated as Gambino’s final album under his rap moniker and will also serve as the soundtrack for an upcoming film of the same name that he is involved in.

Accompanying the album release, Gambino has announced ‘The New World Tour‘, set to kick off in August 2024 and conclude in early 2025. The tour will feature performances from genre-bending acts Baby Keem and Magdalena Bay.

The North American leg of ‘The New World Tour’ will span from August to October, with stops in major cities such as Toronto, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. The European leg is scheduled for October to December, and the tour will wrap up in New Zealand and Australia early next year.

Though primarily known for his music, Donald Glover has also been making waves in the entertainment industry. His critically acclaimed show, ‘Atlanta’, is expected to return for a new season despite some initial doubts.
