Draftkings Sportsbook Error

Customers of the Boston-based gaming company DraftKings were met with unexpected error messages upon accessing their sportsbook accounts on Thursday. The company confirmed the technical issues, which affected users across all jurisdictions.

“We are aware that customers may be experiencing issues with certain features on our Sportsbook. This is currently affecting players in all jurisdictions. We are working on resolving this as quickly as possible,” stated the DraftKings customer experience team on social media. However, the firm added that it “cannot guarantee when this issue will be fixed.”

DraftKings, which holds a Massachusetts license for operating a digital sportsbook, launched its operations in the state in March 2023. Beyond Massachusetts, the company offers mobile sports betting services in 18 other states and the Canadian province of Ontario. The company’s second-quarter report to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission revealed a total revenue of $73,518,821 for the region, following a first-quarter revenue of $91,855,541.
