Emily Compagno Criticizes Rep. Swalwell on Fox News
NEW YORK, NY — Fox News co-host Emily Compagno criticized Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) during Monday’s episode of Outnumbered. The discussion centered on Democrats’ opposition to President Donald Trump‘s plans to demolish part of the White House East Wing for a new ballroom.
Swalwell recently declared that any Democratic candidate for the 2028 presidential race must promise to demolish the planned ballroom on their first day in office. He stated, “Don’t even think of seeking the Democratic nomination for president unless you pledge to take a wrecking ball to the Trump Ballroom on DAY ONE.”
Compagno, expressing her frustration, said, “I am so tired of the credibility being shattered… it is so frustrating for me as an American constituent.” She directed her comments at Swalwell and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), accusing them of prioritizing clickbait over genuine service to their constituents.
The Fox host emphasized that the new ballroom would have positive societal benefits and reflected values of opportunity and respect for America. “The construction will now be commensurate with the gold and the dream,” she argued.
Compagno, who grew up in the Bay Area, took particular aim at Swalwell’s personal history. She pointed out that Swalwell was raised in Sac City, Iowa, and Dublin, California. “For some very small-minded and bitter people who come from… where does he come from? Iowa?” she remarked. “And then he moved to Dublin, California, and pretends to be from the Bay Area?”
Compagno concluded that Americans care more about substantial issues than Swalwell’s attempts to portray himself as a representative of the Bay Area.
