Evacuations Ordered as Vegetation Fire Breaks Out in Arvada

ARVADA, Colorado – A vegetation fire sparked in Arvada on Thursday afternoon, leading to mandatory evacuation orders for nearby residents. The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of West 82nd Avenue and Quaker Circle, just east of Leyden Rock Open Space.
Firefighters from the Arvada Fire Department responded quickly to the scene, where they battled the blaze in difficult conditions. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Arvada Police Department assisted with the evacuation efforts.
