Explore & More Children's Museum And Bankonbuffalo To Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day With Educational Activities

Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum and BankOnBuffalo are teaming up to celebrate the life and teachings of Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of educational activities. The scheduled events were originally planned for Monday and Tuesday, but due to inclement weather in Western New York, they have been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27.

As the presenting sponsor for Martin Luther King Jr. Day’s educational activities at Explore & More, BankOnBuffalo is generously contributing to the admission fee for all visitors to the museum on Jan. 27. This will result in a significant discount of 38% off the regular non-member admission fee, making it only $5.

During the event, participants can look forward to a variety of engaging activities, including storytelling, crafts, and educational exhibits, all aimed at highlighting and honoring the values and principles that Martin Luther King Jr. advocated for. The event will offer children and families the opportunity to learn more about diversity, equality, freedom, and resistance.

Explore & More will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, and Tuesday, Jan. 16. The museum will resume its regular schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 17, opening its doors at 10 a.m.

For more information about the event, please visit the official website of Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum and follow their updates on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
