Fans Demand Updates for Oblivion Remastered After Recent Release

Los Angeles, CA – Following the surprise launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on April 24, 2025, fans are calling for official updates and modifications to enhance their gaming experience.
Since the remaster’s release, players have flooded social media, sharing their thoughts on the game. While many are pleased with the visuals and new sprint feature, they also see room for improvement.
“We need difficulty sliders, please!” one player wrote on Discord. “Adept is way too easy and mindless, but expert is too grindy. Honestly can’t play before a patch arrives.” Difficulty adjustments, including a suggested slider, have emerged as a top request among fans.
Another topic of conversation is the game’s character customization options. Players have expressed a desire for more hair styles and body customization tools to increase personalization. One user remarked, “I just want to change my character’s appearance later in the game.”
Interestingly, both PC and console players have long been accustomed to modding their games. However, Oblivion Remastered has not yet enabled mod support, which many gamers found surprising. “Why would they leave out such a key feature?” questioned one user.
In-game menu management is another pain point, with players noting that their lists of spells have become unwieldy. “There should be a way to remove spells from your spell book,” another Discord user suggested. “Your spell list becomes unmanageable as you create custom spells.”
Additionally, navigation through the game could be improved. Fans are requesting updates to the user interface, such as a clearer indication of whether a location has been cleared, preventing wasted time exploring already completed areas.
As discussions continue, fans remain optimistic about Bethesda Game Studios addressing their concerns. For now, players are busy exploring Oblivion Remastered, sharing experiences and eagerly anticipating future updates.
