Fantasy Football Players Injuries Updates

Dallas, TX – Fantasy Football managers are facing a challenging Week 12, as four teams – the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Commanders – are on bye. This situation complicates roster decisions, especially for teams with players from these franchises.

Adding to the dilemma are injuries sustained in Week 11. Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren both left their games early and did not return. Drake London of the Atlanta Falcons has been ruled out for this weekend’s matchups. Meanwhile, quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Michael Penix Jr. remain questionable as they recover from injuries.

With these changes in mind, here are some key player recommendations to consider for Week 12:

Quarterbacks

Jacoby Brissett of the Arizona Cardinals, who has been solid since taking over for Kyler Murray in Week 6, averaged 314 passing yards and has thrown two touchdowns in each game. Facing the Jacksonville Jaguars, who surrender the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, Brissett is positioned for another strong performance.

Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers is another quarterback to watch. He threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns in his return against the Cardinals and has averaged 262 yards and multiple touchdowns in each start this season, making him a reliable option.

Running Backs

Woody Marks from the Houston Texans could thrive against a Buffalo Bills defense, which has allowed the most rushing touchdowns this season. Marks is a solid choice given the favorable matchup.

If Jacobs is unable to play, Emanuel Wilson of the Green Bay Packers is likely to shoulder much of the workload against the Minnesota Vikings. With a defensive average that allows moderate success to running backs, Wilson presents a good opportunity for Fantasy points.

Wide Receivers

A.J. Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles is a key target to consider. He received a season-high 11 targets in Week 11 and faces a Dallas Cowboys team susceptible to receiving touchdowns.

For a sleeper option, Darnell Mooney of the Atlanta Falcons could emerge with Kirk Cousins stepping in due to London’s absence. The last time Mooney played with Cousins, he averaged 4.1 receptions and 62.4 yards per game, hinting at potential production.

Tight End

Hunter Henry of the New England Patriots has a prime opportunity against the Cincinnati Bengals, who have allowed 12 touchdowns to tight ends this year, the most in the league.

Defense/Special Teams

The Cleveland Browns might be a smart pick against the Las Vegas Raiders, thanks to their impressive defensive performance this season and facing a quarterback like Geno Smith, who has struggled with turnovers.

On the flip side, the Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott encounters a challenging matchup against the Eagles, who haven’t allowed an opposing quarterback to score multiple touchdowns since Week 4. With Prescott’s shaky performance metrics, it may be best to look for alternatives.

Fantasy managers must stay vigilant as the final injury reports roll in this week. Change is every season’s hallmark, and adapting is pivotal for success in Fantasy Football.
