Finn Wolfhard Expresses Worry Over Final Season of Stranger Things

HAWKINS, Indiana — Finn Wolfhard, star of the hit series Stranger Things, shared his concerns about the show’s upcoming fifth and final season during an interview. As anticipation builds for the conclusion of the beloved sci-fi drama, Wolfhard admitted he was “pretty worried” that it might face backlash similar to what HBO’s Game of Thrones received during its final season in 2019.

“I think everyone was pretty worried, honestly,” Wolfhard told Time. He reflected on how the final season of Game of Thrones was widely criticized and expressed hope that Stranger Things would avoid a similar fate. “But then we read the scripts. We knew that it was something special,” he added.

Season 5: Volume 1 is set to premiere on November 26 on Netflix, with Volume 2 scheduled for Christmas and the series finale on New Year’s Eve.

By the end, we’d captured over 650 hours of footage,” Ross Duffer stated. “So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It’s like eight blockbuster movies.”
